I am a political and governance strategist with over a decade of experience working inside complex institutions across the United States and Africa. My work focuses on how power, policy, and operations intersect—and how institutions can be designed to deliver real outcomes rather than symbolic change.

Throughout my career, I have built and managed large-scale programs, advised senior leadership in high pressure environments, and supported initiatives operating at the nexus of political systems, civic engagement, and democratic accountability. I have developed expertise in navigating ambiguity, coordinating multi stakeholder processes, and translating political analysis into operational execution.

My professional background spans governance and political systems, philanthropic strategy and grantmaking, institutional operations and program management, and crisis response and rapid decision-making frameworks. I hold a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, where my training focused on economics, urban systems, and governance. I also studied urban planning at New York University, building foundational expertise in how cities function as political and economic ecosystems.

I have worked with global philanthropic institutions including the Open Society Foundations, where I held senior operational roles supporting democratic governance initiatives across multiple regions. This work required managing complex portfolios, advising on strategic risk, coordinating high-level partnerships, and ensuring that programs translated policy goals into tangible impact on the ground.

My long-term work is oriented toward leadership in Africa, with a focus on governance reform, political
accountability, and institutional capacity-building. Every phase of my career—from my academic training to operational roles in global institutions—has been intentional preparation for this responsibility. I am committed to supporting the emergence of accountable, responsive governance systems that serve citizens and build public trust.
